A 6-year-old girl died Thursday when she fell out of her family's minivan and was run over.Authorities with the North Carolina Highway Patrol said the accident happened just before 4 p.m. on Hobson Drive in Davie County.Mobile users, tap here to watch David Jeannot's report.Investigators said the girl was not wearing a seat belt and was able to open the door and fall to the pavement before being hit. They said the vehicle was being driven by the girl's mother.Officials said the mother -- Aminadab Pastor-Segura -- will be charged with misdemeanor death by motor vehicle and reckless driving.The girl was a student at Cooleemee Elementary School. The school system said it would have counselors available to talk with students and staff.10955924
