Teen sentenced in hit-and-run death of High Point firefighter riding bike
A 19-year-old has pleaded guilty in a deadly hit-and-run case involving a High Point firefighter who was riding a bike.Andrew Bray Barnham, 19, pleaded guilty Thursday to felony hit and run in the death of Fire Equipment Operator Todd Martinez in February.Barnham was sentenced to four months in prison as part of a 16-29 month suspended sentence. Barnham also was sentenced to 4 years' probation and 250 hours of community service.Martinez was hit by a truck on the evening of Feb. 2 on Scalesville Road and Sewarn Road east of Summerfield. The 15-year veteran of the department later died at the hospital.

A 19-year-old has pleaded guilty in a deadly hit-and-run case involving a High Point firefighter who was riding a bike.
